ellieheelwork3Ellie’s obedience has been going from strength to strength. Although I am still quite critical of her heelwork position, judges seem to like her. She is enthusiastic but not so over the top as Darcy.

So far this season we have only entered Novice classes but she has achieved 3 wins, 2 seconds, a third and a fourth. This puts her out of Novice and, from August onwards she will have to enter A and B. This means that I have a lot more training to do. In particular to teach her scent and sendaway!

Sadly, this also means that we cannot compete in club matches as we only compete up to Novice level.

On the Agility front, we are still dropping poles but her contacts are coming on well and her weaves are getting much more solid... Still rather a lot of room for improvement! Nevertheless we both enjoy it and it makes a change from obedience which can become a bit intense!
