Aged 20 months

Ellie had her operation last friday. I had also noticed that she had a small lump on her back. I mentioned this to the vet and it was agreed that she would have this removed whilst she was under the anaesthetic. At least it would save her having another anaesthetic (and the related risks) later on. When the vet removed the lump, she thought it was a cyst or wart so I am not too worried about it! elliedown2

Ellie came out of the vets looking very sorry for herself. She is a bit sensitive about her "nether regions" anyway. Even brushing in that area is a bit distressing. She didn't want to walk and kept trying to lie down. She was very uncomfortable for a few days and I suppose this was made worse by the double wounds (underneath and on her back). I was a bit worried about her for a couple of days but she is now much better and I am looking forward to having her staples removed on Monday, then we can get back to normal.
