Ellie eats poo! That is so disgusting! But it is common, particularly in puppies. It's a recognised condition and its proper name is coprophagia. Ellie mainly eats the other dog's poo but they sometimes eat their own. The main "cure" is to clean up the garden so that they can't find anything to eat - its a bit of a pain. I am currently trying feeding all the dogs courgettes. Apparently this makes the poo taste horrible (I'll have to take their word for it...) but I've yet to see an improvement.

ellie sniffing groundThis problem with Ellie's dislike of the car definitely needs some work. Because we are not allowed out yet, everytime we do go out, it is in the car. Ellie now hides when I put my coat on. She thinks my coat equals "out in car" (very astute of her actually). I must get round to putting her in the car, feeding her, then taking her out again - that should cure it!

Our obedience training is coming on well. She is starting to follow the tit bit and is doing nice recalls and front presents. Her play is strong and she loves to tug. We are also doing food-circuits to keep her keen. I am still working on the free-shaping to keep her thinking and keep up the creativity.

Ellie is now tall enough to get on the furniture - I'll have to nip that in the bud. She is toilet training well - I think she can now go about half an hour between trips to the garden.

We went to play with Mikki and Onyx (poodle pup) and they all had a great time. It was useful learning as they all became very excited and there were a few friendly "scraps" which were sorted out in the usual doggy way!
