Technically our surname is Caldwell-Nichols but we are usually known as Nichols. We have been married for 22 years and live in Bierton, near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

George is into computers which can be very useful…He is a Project Co-ordinator and Technical Specialist for a Management College in Hertfordshire. He’s also involved in a number of voluntary activities, assisting with the Family service at church, contributing as a member of the DCC and co-ordinating the delivery of the Parish Magazine and he has also served a couple of years as the Chairman of Bierton School’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA).
 Alison
I am a professionally qualified HR Manager and I work for Aylesbury Vale District Council. When the children came along I reduced my working hours to 2 days a week and have spent time with the family and developed my dog and puppy training interests. I am Secretary of Aylesbury Canine Training Society and instruct Obedience classes on a voluntary basis. I love learning and take part in various courses (dog training and web design). I am also a Governor at a local primary school. I also undertake consultancy work in HR field including conducting independent disciplinary investigations.
We have two children, Laura (14) and Scott(12). Both Laura and Scott are now at Secondary school. They have wide and varied interests including music, and dog agility. Both Laura and Scott compete in agility and both have qualified for YKC events at Crufts.
